President: Jessica Buckles
Hello North Fulton,
Well can you believe it, The 1st Trimester has come to a close. It seems like
yesterday we were just getting ready to start the year and now we are already
4 months into it.
As we head into the 2nd Trimester, I want to take a minute to thank everyone that
has helped our chapter these first few months. As we were getting ready for CPG's
and Jekyll, we counted the number of projects that we have completed and I could
not believe it, we have had over 40 projects in 4 months and that counts projects
like the Gwinnett Arena and our Meetings as only one. This would not be possible if
it weren't for our Vice Presidents, Directors, Chairmen and the rest of the 2007
Board of Directors.
I know that this is the part of the year where things start to wind down, but we
need to start working on the 2nd trimester. Lets keep up the pace and make the
entire year just as good as the first trimester.
I hope to see you in Jekyll and if not, we will be thinking about you while we are
on the beach. LOL
Have a great Month and keep
Rise to the Challenge.

North Fulton,
The first trimester has come and gone. It has only been 51/2 months since the retreat. As of May 1st, we
only have 7 hard months to work on the best projects that NF has to offer to better ourselves, our community
and Rise to the Challenge. As we leave the 1st trimester behind, we will not leave empty handed. For state
and region we have 20CPGs, 4 competitors and 5 judges going down to Camp Dream. Also, Management
has done great, thanks in part of the hard working few that have worked their part at the Gwinnett Arena. Thank
you.
Stepping off into the 2nd trimester, we will start running right out the gate. Pizza sales have started, if you
wish to sell or buy please contact me by email (jc_termite@yahoo.com) or by phone (678-886-8379) and I'll
be happy to get you the pamphlet. YES! It's that time of year once again. Its time for the Haunted House, I
know I know we say this all the time but its true. This is a special year this year. Not only does T-man get to
chair the house this year, he has the honor to chair the 25th anniversary of the House on Horror Hill. Clean ups
have gone underway. For dates and times go to the NF web page or myspace page. Don't miss out on this
historic event.
Rise to the Challenge.

Hey North Fulton,
I want to take a chance to thank Sarah Hill for all of her hard work on the Benefit Ride. You
have done a great job! Please don't forget about Relay for Life! We can always use more
people for the team or you can purchase a luminary for a donation. We want to meet our
goal and I want to thank everyone who has signed up or donated money so far. If you would
like to sign up for the team please call me or Andrea Perry.
Don't forget we are still doing Kids Crafts. So bring your kids out and your friends with
kids! We are getting ready for the haunted house so I know most people will be focusing
their time and energy on that, but if anyone would like to help with any upcoming project or
have new project ideas please call me!! Thanks to Amanda Clark we have two new project
ideas in the works! Thanks Amanda.
Also we are still collecting tabs, Please bring tabs to our meeting on May 14, 2007. We will
be making our first donation that Friday.

Hey everyone!!!! As you all know, region competitions were on Sunday the 29th. President
Sandy has made it mandatory to compete on the region level and win before you are qualified
to compete on the state level. For those of you who are interested in competing in second
and third trimester, please be thinking about what you would like to compete in and, and feel
free to contact our great trainers that we have in our chapter(i.e, Wendell, Karen, Connie,
Dave… and the list goes on), we have all the resources we need right here at home.
Secondly, thank you to everyone who submitted an article on what the North Fulton Jaycees
mean to you. To those of you who did this, you have just completed a sample write up topic for
a prepared topic. Think about the possibilities of what you could do now!
Star Student is still going strong, and I am very pleased with the response we have gotten
from Hopewell Middle School. They have submitted a student every month and are very pleased
to be working so closely with the North Fulton Jaycees. A big thank you to Lynelle Holbrook,
my chairman for this project, as she has put in several hours to make sure this project runs
smoothly.

Hello North Fulton,
I am hoping that everyone is renewing this year and paying their dues. We do have to pay the
chapter dues to region and to state for all our members. If you have already renewed but haven't
paid you can send your payment to:
Andrea Perry
PO Box 1742
Roswell, Ga. 30077
Or give your payment to Casey Basting or myself at any meeting or function.
Also remember you can work off your dues through the Gwinnett Arena. Each time you work the
Gwinnett Arena $5 goes towards your dues amount. We need workers for the arena so if you can
work weekdays or weekends please let Wendell or Lynelle know so you can get on the schedule.
The Arena has opened up doors with projects we are able to do and we need you to continue to
do that. From the Noah's Ark, St. Jude, and United Way, we have helped these organizations and
want to do more, but that can't be done without your help in paying your dues and/or working the arena.
Thank you,
Rise to the Challenge.

Thank you to everyone that has worked these events! On April 25, 2007 I was able to give
Andrea (our Treasurer) two checks totaling $997.27. (This included Mana) ( We have
discovered that we enjoy Latin American events.) This is in addition to the $697 in checks
and $270 in tips handed in at the March 26, 2007 meeting. That's a total of $1964.27 in the
last month. This funds our membership incentive program ($5 every time you work the arena
goes toward your membership dues). We have paid for our FEIN # and have the money for
our 5013c. Together we have obtained this and together we can continue. This is great teamwork!
If you have not worked an event you are missing out on the FUN!
Remember: Black or Khaki pants
April we had a few new people join the experience. All of them agreed that they had fun and will come again.
Brian Perry now has pants so he said he would help again.
Cassie Crocker said she will help again.
May events are large concerts with sellout crowds. All help is appreciated.
May dates and times:
May 2 (Wednesday) arrival time 4:30 - 5:00
May 4 (Friday) arrival time 4:30 - 5:00
May 5 (Saturday) arrival time 4:00
May 12 (Saturday) arrival time TBA
We do have some during the week events. If you can not make it at the times listed above
please let me know and I will work with you.
Anyone that can VOLUNTEER please call Lynelle
